Pedestrian hit by car insurance claim

Have you been hit by a car? There are two possible situations in an accident between a pedestrian and a car:

Situation 1: The pedestrian violated the traffic rules
If the pedestrian is themselves at least partially to blame, it is legally considered to be their own fault. This will be the case if the pedestrian ignored a red light, walked in the middle of a busy road, or violated the traffic rules in any other way.

Situation 2: The pedestrian did not violate the traffic rules
